Social permaculture - design for change

This course focuses on how to manifest change in our lives through conscious design and action.
We need hope, magic, new vibration and a new way of being. We need global cultural transformation towards a peaceful, connective society and a positive regenerative future.
How do we make those cultural shifts necessary to bring us there? Take your first step by applying for this course!

This is a week long course on permaculture farm Bogata Šuma, to teach you all about permaculture, design thinking and setting up a regenerative life for yourself.

At Bogata Suma you can experience a permaculture lifestyle, as you gain the necessary skills to implement permaculture and Cultural Emergence in your own life.

Permaculture is about designing with nature, by observing her functions, patterns, connections and systems. Cultural Emergence is about growing, protecting and cultivating thriving people and environments. It is about creating a healthier and happier ecosystem for a peaceful, connective life and a positive, regenerative future.
In this workshop we will work with permaculture ethics and principles to help us make sustainable choices.

In this course you will have fun learning together with likeminded people on a permaculture farm in Croatia. This will be a richly nourishing, empowering and life transforming course.

 

Challenge & awaken, move & invigorate, nourish & empower

With a growing awareness and feeling of responsibility you need tools for transformation. Asking questions, thinking differently, pattern recognition and disruption all lead to growth. How to grow your vision, connections to self and others, your resilience and your effectiveness. We will grow ropes, build trust, appreciate and celebrate.

Enhance your confidence and skills in designing any aspect of your life.
We will use Looby Macnamara's Design Web, with a nice balance between theory and practise. Her Design Web is an effective toolkit that translates the use of permaculture ethics & principles, and helps you design for people based systems.

 

You will leave this course with...

• A personal design for an aspect of your life that you want to improve.
• A group design for a positive change in the world

Within the first 3 months following the course you can have 2 consultancy calls with us, to bring your theoretical and practical knowledge together for your situation.

Sustainable living & self-sufficiency

In this week you will get an overview of what is permaculture and a sustainable life.
How to setup ecological food growing systems for self sufficiency, including several ways to make compost and fertilizers, natural building techniques, how to take care of yourself with herbs, how to make natural cleaning products...

At the heart of this lifestyle lies the philosophy of permaculture: an approach that mimics natural patterns and cycles to create a diverse, resilient, and productive system. The homestead becomes a microcosm of biodiversity, where plants, animals, and humans coexist in a symbiotic relationship.

Through permaculture practices like polyculture and companion planting the land becomes an abundant source of organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs, animal food, dyes for our sheep wool and source for soap.

Learning by doing and experiencing

In this course you will learn skills like food preservation and seed saving, how to keep animals healthy & happy, and you can see various natural building techniques and a simple solar energy system.

We will show you how to setup ecological food growing systems, including several ways to make compost and fertilizers, how to take care of your health with herbs, how to make natural cleaning products...

This is a practical and fun course in which you can use all your senses.
